Attention Top 32 Qualifiers!

Top 32 will be required to add the following safety items to their cars:
  • Fire extinguisher within reach of driver (must have a metal head)
  • Tow hooks or straps in front and rear of vehicle, and they must marked "TOW" OEM tow hooks must be visible and not under bumpers.
  • Starter kill switch must be installed outside of vehicle, on the rear or front. The kill switch must turn the vehicle off and be marked "OFF"

Mine is hooked up to the hot side and it also has to kill the altinator or the car will still run. And you can use 2 inch straps for your tow hooks. Call Chris Jackson he can help you guts out. Cause you guys are going to have to make this happen you have about a month. No excuses get it done.

any performance, speed, or automobile racing oriented store should carry almost if not all things listed, other than tow hooks. Murrays, summit, jegs, etc.
 
If you guys want to pursue competitive drifting, make sure you get a fire extinguisher with a metal head and filled with sodium bicarbonate based dry chemical.

is it required to have a sodium bicarbonate based for fd ?
 
Can the factory rear tow hook on a s14 be ok aslong as its marked? I was planning on installing crash bars front and rear with tow straps early next year. Money is going twords tires for this event lol.

You don't have to have a fire extinguisher in FD. You have to have a fire suppression system.
