Justin Pawlak Gets Upset with Tyler McQuarrie After He Crashes Into Him in Top 32

I read about both this and Diago time with JTP....

I don't see a problem with this one at all. Diago talk he was a little more heated and a little over the line, but he made a mistake there himself and didn't really have a good arguement...

here, tyler got stupid slow and JTP has to anticipate that he will continue so he did and Tyler didn't = hit. the problem is JUDGES not docking the guy for the mistake in the lead.

They want CLOSE PROXIMITY but if lead guy makes an error you are SCREWING yourself with no where or time to compensate. If the judges won't dock him, then don't follow close, then its not AGGRESSIVE and you lose anyways.

The judges have then made it KEY to be a little SLOPPYish in the lead so the following driver might hit or bobble trying to not screw up, because if your smooth, the following driver has no fear to get on the door and get proximity points.

JUDGES NEED TO UPHOLD ERRORS. Livestream almost exploded when Tangelo hada a HUGE correction (straight) and got a 72.5 and then dudes go out and link it for 71s. Rhys Millens qualifying run was absolutely bonkers compared to Aasbos (brilliant run still), but he got the Bias hammer.

I think it comes down to judging not holding up in tandem in this situation. Last year they took a win from Yoshioka at PBIR for his "too slow backwards entry". There is times when cars are faster than others in a certain section but I'm pretty sure Charlie in his NAKA would have hit Tyler in that turn.

That reverse entry was the dopest thing in all of FD PBIR 2011. The crowd got so stupid over the awesomeness of that.

The Tangelo bullshit is getting old too.

Relax pat lol. I'm just saying it's about sportsmanship there is always someone who is better than you are and if you can't take a loss then you shouldn't be competing and just have fun like the rest of us

having a discussion about a run is not unsportsmanlike. its all based on the attitude with it. Tony Stewart THROWS HIS HELMET AT A DUDES CAR (nailed it, mid hood) and gets a chuckle from the announcers and compliments on his arm/accuracy. JTP talks to a competitor and its the end of the world and he is a cry baby.

besides, until your a competitive driver, (esp level of JTP who worked up from his own privateer program), you dont know how frustrating it is to lose because of another driver's error.

I think they need to work on the judges and rules and all that stuff

Jlowe so what you are telling us is that jtp used his front brakes to add angle but also made you guys have contact. Hmmmm

Hah I really don't give a crap either way. It's just something else for everyone to discuss

I need to relax for trying stand up for a good guy and friend of mine and Jeremy's? You guys just flat out we're talking shit and honestly didn't even understand what was going on.

People and situations are a lot different than what you guys think at events. Jeremy and I have learned sooo much about that this year, and have a whole new outlook on everything.

All I'm saying is, don't just start flappin your lips about someone when you don't even have the real story of what happened. Put yourself in someone else's shoes before you start talking shit.

It looked like Tyler's car fucked up mid-turn. Like he missed a shift, but I don't think he was shifting, or know why anyone would shift there? But that's what it looked like, and when his car stopped, JTP barely hit him. Then Tyler drove away straight. If JTP wasn't there, Tyler would've straightened and drove away exactly the same way. That was the most confused and pissed I've ever been at a call like that. I wanted to find JTP and give him a huge hug :/

You can go ahead and blame that on whatever media outlet reports theses incidents then. They make it seem like jtp is a cry baby. Just like a pbir I don't know the dude personally so. I just said according to previous incidents everyone pretty much looks at him as a sore loser. Maybe he isn't but I don't know him. I could go ahead and pull the "welcome to the Internet bro card" and just say everyone talks when they are behind a computer, but I'm not because I didn't even watch the live stream or any video of what happened. I read the post and went from there.

Exactly. You didn't even watch what happened, and you're running your mouth because Justin got upset about a really really bad call.

It starts at the 42:40 mark
http://www.formulad.com/live/?feed=metacafe&event=RD6

It does look weird that Tyler stalled the drift in that section but it looks like he does it in his following run too and JTP pulls away. Tyler is later interviewed (164:30 mark), he says he went out further than he should of and was trying to come back in to hit the inner clip and that's when JTP hit him. It looks like a bad luck racing incident but none the less I'll give it the benefit of doubt, since you guys were actually there and see a sub-culture none of us see. Either way I'll be cheering for you guys on livestream like I have been all year .

P.S. For the record I never thought he was a bad guy and questioned his talent. Oh and yes it is a slow day at work today.

looking at the reply jtp's transition was really aggressive (not a bad thing) ..that brake that Tyler used was a little harsh on him so it would be tricky for the judges to rule it ...but you know the judges.. Tyler had angle might not have speed but jtp did make Tyler lose his angle . tyler made an error that jtp couldnt avoid and caused him to make contact .. contact > correction tyler wins

JTP's job is to follow right? with as much proximity as possible? So if JTP did just that, and the lead driver made a mistake which caused him to stall out and damn near straighten... why is it JTP's fault for that impact?

Sounds to me like he was giving the judges what they wanted.

That bullshit about Tylers frame being bent and transmission need pulled out sounds like bullshit btw. Unless its made out of oompa loompas.

yea it is jtps job to follow but not hit the other persons car.. its hard to do that but he could of avoided it. slowing down and making it up with this power that he has instead of just going in there and expecting the other driver to be good in drifting. :driving:

its a mistake on both drivers and its something they need to learn to avoid as much as possible. its happend to jtp twice already so i hope he has figured out what he needs to do to avoid such incidents

I'm just glad he got knocked out :chair: I'm hoping freddy wins the championship doubt it will happen tho.
