i have a 97 kouki and i wanting to put a J30 diff in the car. i been doing alot of searches on this. im gettting alot of diffrent out comes. im hoping someone here as done this swap and can point out what needs to be done for this to work.
i have a 1995 J30 diff that want to to install in my 97 240sx. my car is NON ABS all the J30s are ABS. from what i read the Drive shaft will need to be changed with a s14 ABS driveshaft for this to work?
im not sure i did this swap on my s13 witch was really easy just change cover and install. but now in the s14 what all will i need some people are staying just as long as its a 6bolt(witch it is) it will bolt right in no problems. others are saying ill need the axes. others are saying ill need driveshaft from a 240 ABS.
has anyone done this swap that can tell me 100% what i need cuase im reading 100 diffrent things needed for this swap. i think people are making this swap more harder then it really is.
