Ikeya Formula is legit.

If I had the dough, I would drop it. Probably does break tranny's, but I'm sure it would work for a little while. Plus I think your horsepower infuences that as well.

Well obviously. You think putting a shifter on a car it'll make the trans have dog gears? lol

I like the thing, and I would rather have a clutch than a dog box... I dont drive a drag car, and I use my clutch alot...

Only thing Im wondering, can you use reverse? Would you have to like pull back 6 times to get there?

^^Depends on the car. Most have a lever on the side to engage reverse.

wow 5500+ custom DS clucth and release bearing... I think a built KA or SR trans with a shifter would be less than that yeh?

And 5500 being the base one...

+1 and people need to realize in motorsports you pay to play with the big boys(that's until u get major sponsorships). I'd rock one of those as a final touch on the 86. I need to spend $ wisely right now and I'm happy with H-Pattern for now. The $ I would spend on that tranny I could build a monster 86 lol.

It's 5500 for just that. Then you need bellhousing and other things. They are not cheap, I almost took a loan for one.

You do have a clutch with a dog box, and you can shift with the clutch with a dog box. It's not a full sequential drag race transmission. You also don't even need that Ikeya thing with a dog box.
