ok so here it goes .... i had a short circut in the car and dont know wha it is car starts ut as soon as i give it gas it bogs and turns off so i get the car on cold and its idling pretty high so it didnt turn off,,,, i unplug the maf and the car idles smooth and accelerates great but only to 2500 rpm *since the maf is not pluged in* so i buy a new maf .... same problem... so i guess ecu i open mine and there is one small slightly burnt resistor and i see someone on craigs list selling a sr20det ecu ... he comes over and i test his ecu on my whip and still same problem black smoke out the exaust.. supper rich it sucks... so by process of elmination it has to be something with the wiring to my maf from harness???? car runs fine without it..... and if it is what wud be the process of finding out whats wrong.. any usefull info will help and if u help me wit my problem i have cash too i just need my 40 back up plz help... i know all of u knows how it feels to have a boosted whip just sitting in the drive way
