Idle problems

Ok i have read the thread on the idles and about cleaning the iac vaccum lines but im not sure the problem as bad as some people do here. Ok so heres the problem, a times the car will idle great but sometimes when im driving around and start coming to a stop the idle begins to fall below normal and then when it comes to a complete stop the idle will drop to 100-250 and back up. If i try and through the car in neutral (auto) it does the same thing. I thought it was a leaky vaccum so i fixed it and it worked fine. That was yesterday and today when i was coming home from school it stalled out. It also stalled on me yesterday before i fixed it. This only started to happen yesterday. Any solution people. Oh the car is auto has a magnaflow exhaust and an intake. No EGR

I have auto tranny as well (no exhaust mods) and one of the-IAC-clean-up posts was in response to my thread to an issue similar to yours. This definitely helped my car. The car was idling at 500 RPMS and went to 1500 RPMS steady after clean IAC. Now, it actually stays little higher revs than normal rather than the abnormal low idle. 240SicknessX tuned this for me yesterday. BTW big thank you 240SicknessX for taking a look at my car yesterday and again to Aero-ks13.4 for the IAC clean up advice. I suggest you PM both or any of these two guys. They were very helpful to me.

post up what you find. I am having the same problem. Exact same symptoms...but im standard trans

But i don't drive mine anymore, so i never looked into fixing it....i figured fuel filter, and cleaning like others have suggested....

ok guys i took the car out but i forgot the cam and here are the results. Drive and then brake idle at 200. Drive then neutral, turned off. Came home grabbed cam and tried to take vid of it happening and everything was good again.

well i figured that its either the maf, tps, fuel filter, timing or iacv.

no i havent. that kinda of makes sense. my idle drops really hard sometimes when i brake. ill check tomorrow. no skool. But i do know that the booster has surface rust on it.

that could be your problem... i had a similar problem but it went away when i installed an apexi safcII, sold it and found out that the vacuum hose for the brake booster has a hole in it.

ok i just want to know where my iac would be.
