well look i got a 93 Fleetwood brougham and i need help from people with mad internet search skillz :bigthumbu ok heres the problem my 93 cam with the chevy small block 350 but it a TBI setup and not considered the lt1 now this is what i want i need to know if you guys can find me info on the wiring necesary to use the LY! manifold and make it fuel injected LT! style. now the mechanical i know but any more info would help i really am more interested in the wiring aspect though........any help will be apreciated thanks :bigthumbu
you have a TBI and want to switch it to an LT1 style intake? you can buy an LS1 with a wire harness for about the same money as a new harness and intake with all the parts. They make turbo kits for the LS1. a turbo LS1 brougham... for real to switch from TBI to multiport fuel injection will cost a bit. try to find a factory intake that has multi port injection or a manifold for it. TPI "Tune Port Injection" will work for the TBI motor and there are inexpensive harness' for them.. dont rig it. it wont work right.
i use to believe that since the newer fleets had a lt1 i could just sinply swap manifolds since there the sam motor still but i was wrong because my heads are aperantly different and the location of my distributor is different the lt1 manifol had to be modified not sure if i wanna go through so much trouble i thin i migh just but a Lt1 swap motors and use newer fleetbood wiring harness like a 94 fleet so i only have to slightly modify is to make it work.....any sugestions on a better motor than a LT1 to install????
o and ive seen so many supercharged carburated 350's would i make more poer swaping to a lets eddlebrock carb and manifold im not sure i might have to ask the old gearheads at murrays these guys know their shit when it comes to domestics.
