ok so i have an sr in my vert and currently its running open down pipe because i havent installed the exhaust. The car turns on fine but my idle is at about 2k and doesnt drop from there (ive tried regulating it from the intake mainfold and nothing). when i drive the car as soon as boost starts to build the motor just starts breaking up and the car goes no where. Ive checked for boost leaks, when i unplugg my maf sensor the motor reacts so im guessing the maf is good and when i unplug my tps i also get a response from the motor. Ive tried to reset my ignition timing and nothing still. any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated. recently i also changed the plugs and all my coilpacks are good and a brand new coilpack harness. Soo at this point im just pulling my hair lol

Timing..... Check the cam angle sensor. Play with it. Then play with the idol screw on the manifold.

wrong section but,

check the timing like he said, also you may need to reset the CAS. it's not hard at all just pop off the valve cover turn the engine to #1 topdead center. look for the pin on the exhaust cam to be on top, pull out the Crank angle sensor turn the one dot (yellow i think) to the top and slowly push it in. it should turn slightly as it goes in. get a timing light and check the timing, i always ran slightly advanced for better response.
