I need a broker

I'm getting something imported and expeditors told me that i need a broker, anyone can help me out this?

I'm confused, but i'ma see if i can get more info.

i have a friend that i'll have to get back into contac with that does the all import/export deal, maybe he can help you out.

why do you need a broker? my dad order a part for my c230 from a wholesaler in germany, and he didnt need a broker. :confused:
 
With my job, I deal with customs brokers all the time to get parts from foreign countrys to oil tankers that come into the port.

Im not sure if someone can just call and ask if they can be there customs broker but hey its worth a shot right?

yeah but hes ordering something that has to be shipped in a crate that you cant just get mailed to you so he has to get it through customs at the port which means he needs a broker.
