I hate S13 floors

So I had issues with my seat mounts, the PO has destroyed all of them on the drivers side. Front two mounts Weld nuts were broken off and the two bolts that were in their place had broken the welds he had put them in with.

Rear tranny hump side stud was stripped and rear outside weld nut had broken off inside that area. When I went to drill it out the bit hit the weld nut and just spun.. couldn't even drill it.

So i weld in nuts on the fronts, cut off and weld a new stud on the tranny hump side and fillet the 2 layer floor pan peal it back, remove the weld nut and bent it back and weld it closed.

Now this is all to mound one seat... I'm using Buddy Club super low seat mounts (car specific) and Cobeau XL seats (I'm 6'4" and 320#), I mount everything up and guess what..

I DON'T FIT! not only does my head touch but I have to twist it sideways to sit in the seat... the seats are Fixed back side mounts, there is no way to go lower.. Also the side mount is tight and touching against the tranny hump in the front.

I look to see what I can do to build custom brackets and mount the seat basically on the floor but I can only go down about 2" before the inside front hits the hump for the Cat, I need more than that..

Here is what I ended up doing, I have a high flow cat, so the hump is bigger than need be (3" exhaust still take some room) If I build custom brackets now I can be approx. 3.5" lower and actually fit in my own car.

The seat mounted, its even tight in the car width and height wise

This shows the limited amount of room I can actually go down with custom floor mounted brackets.

and my fix so I can mount fabbed brackets on the floor

I'm not the best welder on earth thats for sure but it holds..

Cut the floor up and do a flat floor pan... Im about to do the same to my hardbody since the PO smashed the mounts and trans tunnel to make his seats sit flat...

I just notched it.. I have 3" exhaust going through there and I don't have room to completely flatten it.. you can see it in the last pics.
