I guess the country is not as stupid as i thought...

Obama went after the uninformed vote by going to college campuses and speaking a good line.

That makes no sense. But I really hope the change in power today helps. You aren't seeing the real issue though.

The country will go through economic ups and downs no matter who is in power. It happens to every country. It's greed in financial institutes.

Wallstreet will lobby both parties with billions, so they can continue unethical practices, inflate prices and then dump everything they have and leave normal people to suffer the bad economy. For murdoff, this is a ponzi scheme. For everyone else it's business as usual.

Seems like some people have short memories, just 4 years ago everyone was saying the same shit when the Dem's Gained Senate and House Majority, They said "America has spoken" The People who where elected know what they needed to do. That was mostly about ending the war's. Has that happened? 4 years later we are still waiting for them to "END"

I hate how people say they want washington to do something about the problems we have, What I want them to do is nothing. Let the market fix itself.

And when I was talking about parties I was talking about republican/democrat. They IN practice essentially the same, they both WILL spend a shit ton of money rhetoric or not. I was not talking about the Green/libertarian/etc parties, as long as the majority of Americans don't consider them viable winners as that is what the uninformed mass electorate votes for, people who they think will win not based on policies or issues.

That being said I think that more people in this country are starting to care about the real issues like monetary reform, the federal reserve, the economy, deficit spending, and bail outs. That is a good start I think.

To be painfully honest, I hope everyone posting here pulling republican dick has their financial standings in order. I am not biased and I see the different parties being more beneficial to different caste of people. Me, personally I am democrat due to the fact that I don't have hundreds of thousands of dollars to back myself when people (republican) want to be selfish dickheads. On certain shit I do agree with Republicans but ultimately they are stepping on my feet as a lower-middle class student.
