how to milk ins?

well the other guy was at fault and my car is pretty bad off im just trying to see how much money i can get out of this and actually fix my entire car and not end up liek my dad were he ended up having to pay a grand and the ins covered the rest

cuz i dont have anymoney to pay for anything

u think so? cuz thats wat im scared of that ill be stuck making some sort of payment, because i am honestly broke, no money at all and no job atm

but the case with my dad was the guy that hit him ran so they didnt have any of his inf so no ins on the other persons part, the guy that hit me tried to run but i followed him so i got in touch with his ins and i got a full police report and stuff...

to them the car could only be worth a grand and may consider it totaled if the repairs cost more than what the cars worth.... then again i dont know what kind of car your driving
 
its not the 40 tho, its a 2002 protege ill post pics to get some ppls opinions later..... i kinda hope they total it tho, idk y but i just dont even want the car at this point.....
 
What will happen if the car isn't total loss when you take it to the body shop you will have to pay your deductible the insurance will pay the rest now once they get the money from the other guys insurance they should give you a check for your deductible. Talk to your adjuster first and make sure cause if you don't say anything your insurance will keep it they are uber cheap and don't wanna pay anything. Hope this helps

i have gotten into 3 accidents since last november (all where the other people faults) and i didnt pay a dime out of pocket..i even got a car rented for 3 months until they fix my harley. it was all done thru their insurance company (geico, twice statefarm)
 
if you go through 411 pain you will need to go through therapy and such which is about 3 times a week for about 6 months depending on x-rays taken and MRI. settlement isn't always 10gs and also 30 percent goes to the lawyer the rest is to pay clinic bills and whatever is left over its yours sometimes the therapy is waived.
 
That's how its supposed to go but if they don't here from the person at fault until your insurance places blame it might make you pay the deductible out from until the place fault. At least that's what happ when a member of my fam got into an accident even the police report gave the other guy the blame. It was geico and the other guy had the same, prob won't happen to you just worse case scenario especially if its a hit n run or something your insurance could give a lil run around
