how do you have your fans wired?

I had my altima fans hooked up to the a/c relay since i dont have a/c. It worked fine and all but just the other day my fans decided to quit on me. So after looking into it i burned up the a/c relay. Now im looking for a better alternative. I had bought a thermostatic switch with the probe and the relay but I've ran into problems trying to wire it myself (not very good with wiring diagrams). So Im asking for some help on either deciphering the diagram or an alternative to wiring them.

Thanks

i hate the whole i have to turn on my fans.

id rather have like a thermostat type switch one and off when it cools

Then you'll have to hook it to a power source that shuts off at a certain temp, or get a temp sender that can signal the fans to turn off at a certain temp.

hook it up to you ignition or your fuel pump that when ever its on the fans are on thats how mine are done

the thermo switch i got from, pepboys worked perfect. i ran the signal to an ac-on wire that has power only when the ignition is on. and i wired everything super neat i wish i had piks. worked perfect.

i connect mine to the ignition power to the wipers so it runs through a relay and i have 2 fuesable links in line before the fans. havent had any problems yet

keep driving like that, not only are u driving open loop all the time... ur gona oval out a cylinder due to lack of specific temp needed to run in an engine... i learned the hard way... thermo switch is the way to go!:bigthumbu

the AMP rating is posted on each fan , but i do think that 30 amp is good for each fan depending in size of wire and of the motor, if its pulling hard causing tempture rising of the motor its self

the 30 amp relay is good but u must use a heaveyier gauge wire if u have the low and high speed wires connected together..cause running high like that even with a temp switch it has a risk of burning..ive have the same altima fans for 4 yrs and the relays always held up it was jus the type of wire ...even with a fuse it can still melt and smoke...cause mine did...i finnally wired up the relays with an 8ga..no probs
