I'm not being a asshole dude and you know that just after a while it gets annoying.

I'm going to make some rules mandatory from now on to avoid issues or mis understandings by now adding the following rules in order for you to drift at FARA.

*ALL DRIVERS must show up between 8 am and 10 am. to obtain a pit space.

* Drivers must be teched at least 1 hour pior to the demo.

Failure to do so, YOU WILL NOT DRIFT!!!!!! ( NO EXCEPTIONS).

* Drivers will not be added to the list until they meet all requierments.

No more " I'll get my cage in this week". "I allready bought my suit and will have it for the event". Until you prove me you have the proper suit, helmet, gloves, shoes and roll cage, I will not add you to the list and give the opportunity to someone else.

*There will be a DEADLINE FOR THE LIST!!!! List of drivers and media will be summited 2 days before the event.

Moe

lmao are people really complaining about that being strict?? they are being offered FREE track time at an ACTUAL track, w/ media exposure.

but its w/e Moe dont sweat it, fanboiz will be fanboiz.

some people just dont have any respect for anything or anyone, and sadly, majority of the people on this forum are that way.

I'm gonna give my rules a try.. Maybe D1 will give me a job making sure their rules are being followed... Maybe then people will have respect for a sport...

I'll stop doing homestead and start drifting...I'll go there with the s15 with my astroboy boxers, and walk out my car to face the media that FARA brings..

Facing the cameras with my astroboy boxers.. I'll be an instant hit for racing

Moe you can make millions with your nose...

Just throwing it out there!

I know the porn start business is waiting on the next Ron Jeremy

Hey.. If I'm being strict about having a cage and a suit.. fuck it lets go comando and go drifting...

i saw someone drifting with capri shorts and wife beater with no roll cage @ d1 miami

Moe,

I thank you for hooking it up with a pass today so I didn't have to pay spectator and whatnot. That was really generous, but I'll still speak my mind. FARA isn't a free drift event.

I mean, unless someone is handing free cages and fire suits, I don't see how it's free. You gotta spend some coin to be able to participate. Oh, then you also gotta make it look good. Otherwise it's nothing but spin cycle fest. I mean if some 17 year old kid showed up in Vaughn Gittin's Mustang, he sure would look presentable, but would he be allowed in the demo?

By no means am I saying I'm not thankful for what you're trying to do for us. But I still don't get the point of making things harder. Granted you're not asking for much, but your dissapointment in the drifters seems to be so huge that you just want to let out your frustration with whatever (pointless if I may) rules you can think of.

If the entire D1 truck showed up at FARA 20 mins before the demo you would turn them down? Again, not saying that being early doesn't have it's benefits, just that these rules really do seem pointless.

Think the problem through. What's the problem? Turnout? How will imposing all of what you suggest going to help it? And what are some ideas that can actually improve/guarantee turnouts?

And go from there.

- Erick

PS: And while on this note.... also think of how many drivers you should cap the event at. Great turnout at the last FARA event.... terrible organization on part of the track staff and the peope pairing the drifters. So clearly it didn't seem like there was a lot of preparation for a huge turnout either. And by huge I mean what... 10 drivers?
