Easy...Time and Money. Right now we are dedicating ourselves to other forms of motorsports. Everything from the pros to SCCA Racing and RallyCross. With that and putting together 2 TV shows we are stretched to the limit.rwdrift said:And why hasnt anyone given you any recognition? Or why have you not further tried to help the drifting community?
Drifting in South Fla is barely a blip on the screen. None of our sponsors are interested. But that may change soon. I'll keep you guys posted.
There is one other reason. I am in the Motorsports Biz. Too many of you guys drift illegally. I cannot and will not allow ourselves to be exposed to the Liabilty.
You need to read the paper more. For Drift Miami we had 4 articles. 2 leading up to the event and one the day and another after reporting on the event. We made the front page of the Sunday Sports Section.rwdrift said:By the way, the only Herald article I've seen on Hialeah Speedway and drifting was brought by me, on South Florida Sideways 2004, in which I have all the e-mails discussing with Tom Fiedler (the editor) and his reporter, arranging the event. And when I introduced the subject to them in October of '04, they were completely unaware of what drifting was. I also have the paper printed the following Monday, where South Florida Sideways came out on the front page of the Metro section.

We also had a cover story in "the Street", And Article in the New Times and in various community Newspapers.
