help with sr swap

so im doing an sr swap and im almost done, i just ran into 2 problems

1. i was tring to connect the maf but the connector on my sr harness has 4 pins but my maf which is a SOHC has 3 pin connector. my harness from my single cam has the 3 pin connector so i was wondering if anyone knew wat wires matched with wat so i can soder them together.

2. i was trying to hook up my driveshaft but it seems like my driveshaft is to long with the sr tranny? i dont get it, i thought it was supposed to bolt right up.

need help and answers asap, thanks in advanced!
 
feta you know u have to remove the drive shaft from the car so its loose, slide it into the tranny, then slide it up to the diff. if the driveshaft is already in and u try to slide it into the tranny it wont work.

true this, goes in the tranny first then back to the diff
 
yea i did that, the back half is hanging and i ush it up to line up with the diff but the end knuckle hits the edge of where the driveshaft meets the diff
 
yea i just read up on that, i dont need a dust collar so tomorrow im gonna remove it and i should be able to bolt it up. thanks for the help guys, and thanks steveka-t for that right up, it really helped
