HELP!! What Type of Car should i go. .. ?

IMO Miata or 240sx. BOth have inexpensive aftermarket. One is more over played then the other.
 
boxmod u made my day with that one, oh and get a miata,,, 240's are overrated and know one goes through miatas like 240 fanboys go through....240's
 
Alright i did some research and i decide that i will go 240 sx, now the question is if i go s13 coupe or s14, good shell clean title blow motor i will take and look for one.

I will be going with motor engine swap with LS1 w/ T56 tranny now im trying to see whats a better class to go for s13 or the s14 , i believe the gear ratio of the rear end from s13 or s14 can take the heat power of the LS1/t56tranny, dont know much info/details about this LS1 swap for S13/S14 but thats the way im thinking to go for it and Dammm right my budget 4k wont be enough ><!

i wont go sr20det or any jdm engine turbo, i will go full ls1 more easy to find parts, less headaches, better prices, and power seems not bad at all.

Anyone has done , experience and how much $$$ total came out for this ls1 s13/s14 to be done.

i will probably be going s13 coupe cuz s14 still pricy as hell unless i find someone selling 1 s14 for under 500 usd :D :laugh: , s13 seems more of a better choice cheaper under 500 for a bad blow motor with good shell great for project but Coupe Style i will go . :bigthumbu
 
^ just get an S13 that runs and learn to drive first.

Stock KA24 to learn with dude. Its plenty of power to start out with at first it wouldnt seem like it but low power levels are a skill builder and it teaches you to actually drift instead of doing rolling burnouts FD style.

Buy a running S13-S14 then suspension suspension suspension, its the most important thing for a drift car honestly. Power is nice but good footwork is the key to a stable predictable chuckable responsive vehicle. Replace the tension rods with Pillowball units, get coilovers, get ruca's rear toe arms, an LSD, better motor mounts, a good seat that will hold you tight, a good helmet, new tie rods with spacers (more steering angle) probly want to get roll center adjuster ball joints since you are going to lower the car with the coilovers and bumpsteer adjusting outer tie rods. All those things will make the car drift better with a 150hp than a stock suspension S13 with 400hp and be alot more fun to drive
