Ok heres the deal, i have a s14 with an s14 blacktop sr20det.. i had rod knock so i rebuilt the engine from the ground up.. new crank, new bearings, eagle rods, arp rod bolts, wiseco pistons, ported piston sleeves, decked the head and the block, hks valve springs, hks stage 2 cams, titanium retainers, greddy RAS, lightweight flywheel and all pulleys, stock t28 turbo and manifold, megan racing fpr, 660cc injectors, walboro fuel pump, apexi neo, apexi avcr.. the car wont turn over.. i got spark, i got fuel at the fpr... is there anyone out there that is familiar with tuning sr's or knows a reputable shop that can troubleshoot SR's???

please ive been without a car for 7 months now trying to buy the parts and finish this rebuild and im getting very fustrated!!!

Do you have your fuel lines backwards?

Do a compression test and see how much you make while cranking w\ CAS unplugged.

I had to crank my ka-t about 4 mins before the injectors got all that shipping nasty ness out of them........ dose the engine start on starting fluid?

are you getting an airflow number while cranking on the safc?

are the cams on time with the crankshaft? Dose the engine sound like it has compression or dose it turn over effortlessly?

Who assembled the engine? Make sure you have oil pressure VIA oiling rails under valve cover, or after market oil press gauge.

the harness, ecu and all electronics were working before you took the engine out right?

i checked fuel lines.. they were fine, even swapped them to make sure

havent tried starting fluid

oil is ok

and all harness and electronics seem to be ok, they were working before

im not sure if the timing is right... problem is i dont have a lot of the tools needed for the rest of this stuff.. timing, compression, thats y im considering just having a shop look at it.. or someone thats done this before

if you say you have spark....... put a new set of spark plugs in and try starting it with starting fluid through the iacv valve..... or something.

yea spark plugs are brand new.. i tried the spark using an old one so i wouldnt mess up the new one.. but im gonna try starting fluid.. my guess its the neo is not tuned right, anyone have any tips on tuning it???

oh jesus....... 660cc injectors are 56% larger then 370cc injectors. So you would set your safc to -50% across the board in the low throttle map to compensate for the larger injectors...... If you do not have done this and you tried starting the car on the default parameters then the engine is flooded. Bro read you safc NEO manual and read it again, and again until you understand what they are talking about.

settings>low throttle> set every rpm range to -50%.

set the injectors to -50% and try starting it. and make sure the plugs are not fouled.

let me ask you, the car will turn over but will not start\fire right? Engine spins right?

where exactly did you buy the motor?

did you check all the fuses cause i know with nissans once one goes down then everything is screwed. you might have to just take to a specialist. it mainly sounds like a timing issue.
