HEEL n TOe

I was wondering do any of you guys use the heel and toe technique when drifting? Becasue i got a buddy who always drifts like that on ceartin turns.....Its pretty crazy....And so freakin confusing to do it at that kind of quickness and pace.....When i bust drifts i just basicly do a faint holding clutch with some gas on it and bammmmm let go and throttle out of the turn......But i guess i got to learn all the techniques to become the best.....So if any of yall noe how to hell n toe in a drift yall must be GOOD as hell. LOL :)

hmmm. you use e-brake don,t you loose more speed using e-brake. e brake is only good to use for tight corners right? That is what i heard.....i use to use e brake long long ago till i got made fun of...LOL....but now its all about hittin the ;) gas and clutch and putting stress n the front brakes to swing the car around....

Same hea thats what i do..left foot on brake and right on gas at times...But thats tight how my buddy does it, its like in intail D.

heel and toe isnt really a way of drifting or a technique for drifting its basically downshifting.. it's a racing technique, not a drifting technique

people usually heel toe downshift on the way to the corner. I personally do not shift gears mid drift. That doesn't seem to make your tires spin.

well shift locking is a drift tecn. noobs and heel-toe during a **** lock is pointless. let me see what other jdm words i know ...they don't sound japanese to me though. is VTB japanese too i hear it used alot. i heel toe and do clutchless rev matching for downshifts but neither during drifting. i just havent ever felt the need for it. im sure if i was better and more entry speed and more angle i could feel the use for it . IM not D1 like the rest of you guys. heres the layout for the secret drift track(going counterclockwise)turn1-tap the brakes come in opposite angle no clutch kick or ebrake/turn2-clutch in, ebrake, clutch out, gas.turn3-lift throttle from turn 2,weight tranfer.turn4 come in oposite angle tap brakes, clutch kick, adjust with ebrake.turn 5 weight tranfer from turn 4 stay on throttle. turn6 lift throttle inertia drift. there you go all the techniques you could have learned in 1 day on a kart track.

ps. sorry so long i was sad and bored just reliving the good old day.

I use it when i'm comming to a turn in 3rd but want to do a second gear drift, I downshift with heal/toe, breaking. Then I hit the gas as I turn the wheel into the turn.. the back kicks out real quick.. if you just downshift the rear locks (shift-lock) before you're at the turn and messes you up.

I use it everyday when i'm driving around, I tend to take 90 degree right hand turns at about 35mph using it.

yeah I have really wide feet too I havent figured it out yet while wearing shoes too bad they wont let to slide barefoot at the tracks.... sigh
