GT4 Challenge

1. Go buy a 97 Toyota MR2 GT-S
2. Buy Stage 4 turbo, racing intercooler, full-racing exhaust, upgraded brakes, engine upgrades (port-n-polish, etc. NO NOS), full-customizeable tranny, triple-plate clutch, racing flywheel, 2-way lsd, semi-racing suspension, stage 3 weight reduction, road tires.
3. Go to World Circuits and choose Nurburgring
4. Before you begin, go to settings and remove all the driving aids.

Once you got all of that done, run the ring and come back here with your timed results. I don't have the exact time with me, but I've gotten around 8 minute lap times with that setup. Have fun.
 
wtf why the gay ass SW20? the best car to use IMO is the Ford racing falcon, and the Amuse S2000...but i WILL try the SW20 as i dont like how it handles on the Ring as being Mid-ship, any Mid-Ship car in GT4 ont he ring Sucks IMO.

Also why "road" tires and only Semi-racing suspension?

The point of this challenge isn't about who could get the best time. The point is to see how many of you can control the car enough to make a good lap time. I don't expect people to make a perfect run. I too spun out in my best lap time. Just run the car with that setup, post your results here, and your thoughts on the way the car handled.
 
when i get back in town to my precious steering wheel, i will hit this up...since no one else really did it. 8 mins sounds like a damn good time tho with that setup. :bigthumbu

Is true cuz that car with no driving aids is a pain in the ass to control it. The other car u should try is the Special edition 91 BP Rx-7. Do the same thing take out the driving aids, the only thing is that u can't buy it. But is one of the best cars in the game along with the HKS S15 Silvia..

Wow, that is gonna be a bitch of a car to control. It seems like good fun. Can I tune the suspension, and all the tunable stuff too? Or just leave as I bought. Sorry for all the questions. I don't like to cheat. :bigthumbu
