The multipliers are the key to high scores. IMO, it's dumb, but that's how the game is.

I'll be going again to Best Buy tomorrow to attempt to pick it up again. Also, in case some of you guys didn't know, I did some research on the game and I found two interesting tidbits:

1. There seems to be some framerate issues in the game thats affecting all the systems. CodeMasters (The developer of the game) is working to track down the cause of the issues and hopefully will have a patch soon.

2. PS3 owners won't be able to invite their friends into the game. Yes it sucks, but there's another way. You'll be able to create a password-protected private session in which those who have the password (i.e. your friends) will be able to login and play the game together. Which is what I plan to do tomorrow night. X360 owners need not to worry about any of this.

If I find anymore interesting stuff, I'll be sure to post it.
