gauge cluster

ok so heres what im doing, i wanna swap out my cluster which is a 89 SOHC and im swapping it to a 91 DOHC cluster. The 91 cluster has the SOHC tach on it already, so now does it just plug and play or is there some other technical things i gotta do before i can make it work properly??
