Gas tank O-rings?

I need someone to verify for me if there's an O-ring in between the filler neck and gas tank? I went to Nissan and the guy said its not an O-ring but a square seal of some sort. I ordered both the one from filler neck to tank and the one on the fuel pump assembly. I went to pick them up today and i got two O rings. Did he get me the right one for the filler neck?? I would like to know if i got the correct item. Thanks in advance.

I know I got that one right, that's the one that goes on the fuel pump assembly. What I wanted to know if anyone here knows what kind of seal goes on the filler neck to tank? I want to be sure the guy at Nissan gave me the right item.
