Fuel Pressure Regulators

(KA24DE N/A)I need to get a new FPR but as far as I can see OEM FPR are not cheap. Does any one know of a good brand aftermarket FPR and from where? I've just been looking on ebay and their prices are to good to be true. It seems that they are all universal FPR meaning I will have to spend some more on a bracket if there kit doesn't come with one.

Junkyard or buy a real fpr (aeromotive, aem, mallory etc etc). If your planning on turbo later your gonna need an upgraded one anyway. Easiest is go to a junkyard though, most of the Nissan ones are interchangeable it seems.

I was thinking megan only because they're cheaper than the good ones and it's not from ebay. Buuuuuut I really don't think the FPR is my problem I replaced with a "junk yard" one and I'm still not getting enough pressure (30-32psi) under WOT (low vacuum). I want to go boost one day but the way things are looking that won't happen anytime soon. I think I have "maybe" a fuel leak and/or a weak pump and/or a clogged fuel line or even a clogged fuel filter even though I just changed it 6 months ago, maybe even a clogged strainer, ooooooooor all the above............. :ugh:

It was a weak pump, but I still want adjustable FPR for the hell of it or mainly I don't know if the stock one can handle the walbro pump because fucking nissan! doesn't have fuel volume specs for their fucking pumps! So I have no idea what that pump is supose to put out and can't be compared to other fuel pumps.

Sorry to bother everyone.............again, with long posts but um anyone have any knowledge on the megan racing FPR. I like their tie rods but thats not saying anything about what they can do with fuel. Megan Racing FPR? good? bad?

edit* well I found something close to stock volume specs off of a walbro site 190 lph (lol found the specs off a site for the pump I wanted to get but couldn't get it from nissan or other companies that make stock pumps, or I'm blind).

megan fpr is an eBay fpr. Don't go cheap on something like that. Get oem from a yard or spend 100 and get a good one.

Yo you ever think your Fuel pump could be bad????

If you already replaced it, maybe your fuel pump is bad or the filter is clogged.
Check the tank for rust. I've seen a couple tanks like that.

I got a Z32 fuel pump if you need one.

Once again my pump was weak, If nissan had the fuel volume specs it would have saved me 1-3 days of fucking testing everything else (repeatedly) until I pulled the pump(any one thinks they have the same problem ask me for the tests I did and blah blah blah).

Now I've heard that ISIS FPR are worth it (from Enjuku) but I'm thinking of biting the bullet (hard....until my brains run down the walls with pieces of bone and teeth) and getting a AEM. By the way does any one know what the hell AEM's FPR come with?!?!?

If it's an AEM for a 240, then it'll come with everything you need to mount to the rail.

Wait if the problem was the Pump.

Y are you changing the FPR?

Its not necessary now. Plus if you turn up the pressure you'll be running rich all the time.

It is my understanding that the Walbro 255 puts out more flow than what the stock FPR can handle. Soooooo with the adjustable FPR I will be able to attemp control the fuel pressure.

not as much to have to go get a fpr... am running same setup. 97 ka. 91 cams. intake. catback. walbro. and runs fine... i dont see the need on getting one rite now.

Well running rich will clog my Cat. and why do you use 91 Cam with the 97?

Oh yeah my FPR stopped working after 2 hours or so after putting in a stock (temporary fix) I think because it's never received correct pressure or flow and couldn't handle it (guessing). So I have no choice but to replaced.

Looks like it got stuck closed but theres no fuel leaking through the diaphragm? Maybe I'll cut it open and see what it looks like for fun.

91-94 cams are bigger than 95+... and well since urs stopped working mite as well upgrade to an aftermarket one now.
