Yeah, it basically usable power band that is the issue. I can kinda cheat sometimes and let my car potato if I dont wanna downshift.
BUTTT, from what I've heard, 2.2 SR's are pretty rad. Still wont have the usable power band that a v8 will, but still rad.
Alot of the top guys are running sprint car motors. Pretty much that means, more responsive, revs faster, revs higher and has an insane amount of usable power band over any 4 cyl.
That also is alot to do with the clutch setup too. Super-dooper light multi plate setups. for the rev and response that is.
