Formula Drift Rd.1 Long Beach discussion

The entry isn't judged, it's only after the bridge to where judging starts.
Long beach is a hard track, it's tight to where any mistake will put you into the tires or wall, and with the added pressure put on these rookie drivers to perform at standards that they're maybe not ready to be at yet.
Jeremy and Chelsea both put down awesome qualifying runs, but Pat looked like he had some trouble with controlling the new car and Zoltan had the unfortunate luck of breaking his clutch on the first qualifying run.
I hope these rookie drivers that didn't qualify don't feel discouraged to continue the rest of the season, there are still 6 more rounds to get their chance.

Florida has 4 badass rookie drivers taking over fd! So pumped for everyone.

Anyways, I can't wait for today's competition. After yesterday's qualifying, the top 32 had a chance to practice tandems, and all I gotta say is keep an eye out for Daigo. His door riding skills had LBC going crazy!

aswell as chelsea! i got excited seeing him ride up on vaughns door, these pros cant let their guard down.
Thoughts on open practice this morning:
1. J.Lowe made contact with the GoPro Camaro. Looked to have been minor damage on both ends but both headed over to the pits.
2. Daigo is demonstrating to everyone the true potential of a 2JZ.
3. Chelsea likes to bounce off the rev limiter but it's working for him.
4. Everyone is performing the way you expect them to. The difference will take place when competition begins.

Practice is already over and the comp should start at 2:00PM EDT.
