Truf, I never shot raw, just because I never thought it was that big of a deal, I have the same tools in Lightroom 2 with JPEGs as I do in Photoshop Camera Raw(3.0). But since I shot in all raw at my last shoot I can really tell the difference.

Its a better quality photo, so it takes up more space. Thats why people use 4gb + memory cards.

The d300 RAW files are about 10mb each.

Raw all day. I just carry around more cards.

You still have more white balance options with raw in lightroom.
