Florida drifting Web show series!?

soo me and my friend pat are talking about starting this website or youtube series of drifting in florida... well yeah that sounds kinda cool but almost pointless in a way.. well what we plan on trying to do is traveling around to all the florida tracks, events, shops, and streets and get the first hand of florida drifting.. we are going to do Track reviews for example we will review desoto speedway we will show pictures of the track and a google map overview of the track as well. we will tell how much it costs to drift there and to spectate. we will review how well the terrain is for drifting and interview 5 people and ask them there opinion on the track and compare it to the other florida tracks!! same thing goes for shop reviews and we will be getting alot of event or pratice coverange and small interviews from drifters both street and track, as well as drift teams or groups!!

Basicly we are talking about setting up something so everyone can see what all the tracks are like before they go to them and see what costs what and what is required to drift at that track... I know I know you can look on the fourms and shit but the idea is so that you can see everythign and get an idea of what your infor before you go..

as far as shop reviews and stuff we want to help some people who allways post "where is a good place to buy a motorset from?" or "where can i get this part" "what shops should i stay away from?" find out what and where is a good place to do buisnss with and also see who is local and who is not.. and it can also help shops out by getting there name out there alittle more as well as some free advertisement..

we also want to incorperate things from the drifters themselfs small interviews & carbuilds. drifting days. and a day in the life of teams like NBDT,DDK,HOTKARL!!

basicly we want to get all info For events, tracks,shops and shit for the people (YOU!) soo you can stay intuned with everything thats going on!! and if you dont know shit about anything thats going on in the state of florida with the sport of drifting and you want to know.. well you can watch our videos and get an idea or get the latest scoop!!!

Sooooo if you are interested in helping us out!! would like to be interviewd,filmed,or if you are a shop that is willing to help out and give us a shop tour and interview let us know!! we want to bring every bit of info to all of the florida drifters!!

yeah i think it would be cool!! it would bring alot of info to people who are wanting to know about diff tracks and shops!! as well as bring event coverage, and reviews!! just from experance i have allways been one to question what other tracks are like and how much it costs to drive , what the lay out is, and what do you need to pass tech! and i think this would help get that info out in a better understanding then just posting on 2 fourms lol if we can get a big list of people from all around florida who are willing to help and let us behind the doors of the shops and shit like that i think we can make a cool little web show as well as bring info to all florida drifters in a different context

No offense, but imagine something like Option, that only covers local FL events. Sounds like the worst thing ever haha. No one would ever buy that.
 
yeah FL events are great but.. not that great

buying drift dvd's is stupid anyways, thats money that should be going into the car or tires
 
well we really dont want to sell anything!! lol maybe like stickers and merch and rad swagg but basicly we want it to be florida drifting coverage and information about tracks and shops that is explained to you other then a short paragraph on the fourms.... it would be good for people who have never driven other tracks and want to see what is out there for the best bang for there buck.... compare tracks like orlando and sebring.. break it down as to how much it cost to get into sebring, what is required to pass tech to drift, how much it cost to spectate, we can google map the over view of the tack and show how its laid out.. we can use our car mount cameras to get an a driving over view of the track, we can rate the terrain as we all know how some places are really rough compared to others and then we can also give driving directions saying if you where comeing from the North,east,south or west and the driving time to get to the location... also we can do sessions with people like we can do a track day or a tips and tricks session with jason g or jermey lowe (if your game??) and we can do shit where we follow little "drift teams/ krews" around for a day and see what they do the night before to prep for events and shit... then we can also do shop reviews that will not just grab the attention of drifters but to people who are into the same genre of cars and such we can also do like part reviews and stuff like that... and then at certin parts of the videos we can have little 5 or 10 min periods where there is a solid segment of drifting.. no talking just music and drifting from all of the florida drifters.. in a few hours im going to meet with some people we are going to discuss this more but i mean we are gona shoot at seabring this sunday and just see how our first little thing can go and see if people like it.. and after that or in the future we can make it more of a solid websode's if anyone is willing to help that would be awesome just from talking to people at local events and shit no one is really an asshat or cocky soo i doubt cooperation will be hard to come by its just time that me and pat are going to have to do shit like this... soo the more of a small army we can build to make it happen the better... i want to make it legit tho almost like writing a book or someshit i want to grab everyones attetion and keep them comeing back for more!!
 
yeah sounds like your heart is in the right place just I wouldnt go too overboard on the first few episodes try to make them straightforward and to the point, there is a thing as too much information in one video, also upload them on viemo so they will look sweet
 
The bad thing about vimeo is that you can only upload a certain size file with the free membership and we have no money to pay for the pro membership maybe sometime in the future we can get that =)
 
im sure if we got enough people to co-op with us and help out and be interested in it ... then it would be sucessfull like i said i dont want to sell information i want to give it away in a diff fassion other then on fourms...
 
this will take time and money, money is a big factor for something like this; transportation funds, gas for the cars, tires, food, and whatever else to make a youtube show. If your paying ill do it!
