Florida Drift Points Series

you guys are taking it too far. Normal events. Just let the guys run their events. Then 3 judges just judge your overall event performance. and give you a score. And it will show up under your avatar
that is a great idea just keeping it simple ! :) 3 throphies amateur, 3 medium, 3 experience. everydriver that wants to join will pay dues that will go towards buying the thropies :) ! just for fun ! ...danm i even wanna start learning to drift jajajajaa LOL :p:cool:

I think this makes the most sense, start small and improvements can be done as time goes on. You can make it fun too like top 3 solo drivers, top 3 tandem drivers and top 3 team drift (something a long those lines).

This is nothing new guys. It's just not official. :)

But was originally intended to happen in 2009, but I know the organizers from the different tracks (Countyline, Desoto, etc) have already talked about something similar.

I'm all for it.

We need a radar gun. It will help the advanced drivers improve and can be used for judging.

+1 on Bladder and Guille. Who would be the 3rd?

You guys are throwing names out there, but make sure those people are not only 1-) Qualified to do the job, but 2-) Available to get the job done.

There's obviously quite a lot of traveling involved to organize something like this, and even though I think it's a great idea, there's a lot of things to be done. Event organizers have to be willing to do this, etc etc.....

What if Rob wants to participate though? lol I love how you guys are picking names like you guys make the call. :D

Well, I didn't know about the 2009 official stuff. I was just saying for local events and just for fun. If it's going be an all Florida thing, then we need to get people like Hachi Bill, Rob, Harri, Blake, Boxmod, etc. Eric has a good point they have to want to do it. It would be nice to have those high level drivers as judges though. :D
