First time out in the new car. (e36 M3 inside)

Parted out the supra because I'm buying a house and this thing kinda fell in my lap a few days before I moved down here. I kept it at CMWerks out of Burr Ridge, IL, where they isntalled my hydro, bucket, steering wheel, wheels, shifter, subframe bushings, uninstalled the cage (bolt in that was too intrusive so I will have a weld in installed later) etc etc etc.

I flew back out to IL a coupla weeks ago and attended MWASB. I got to drive the first day of the 2 day event, but I blew my head gasket so I couldn't play the next day. Never the less, I had the car shipped down here, and did some repairs...sort of band-aided the hg situation with some coolant stop leak...which is surprisingly holding up.

I'll be rocking it till it blows for real, then installing the S52 (3.2L M3 motor...where as I have the S50(3.0L M3 motor).

See you all at Desoto =)

all the ones i could find quickly at work. same event obviously.

the driver's headlight was in there for show because I drove the car to the track (4 hour drive)...it was held in by one ziptie, it had no bulb in it or anything...now its just not there lol, it was used simply to remain "street legal"

yea that track looks sweet! too bad they cut you so short on segment :(

there were a couple spots in that vid i thought you were gonna make the link too!! looked like a stretch, but i bet if you had made the 2nd day, you woulda had it!

Keep your S50 manifold and put it on the S52 if you go that route
I def will! (my cous did it to the S52 we put into his e30)

Thx man, that is the "intermediate" portion of the track. there is an "advanced" portion (I am on it in the pics) and at one point in time during the first day, they opened it all up...the problem with doing that is it becomes too fast paced...and you can roast a brand new set of z1 drifts in 2-3 laps.(I know this from experience lol) Luckily, I got to drive the track open, and it just so happened that I ended up sliding side by side with Simba from the Grip Gamblers, and Dave Lee(owner of touge factory)

Either way, first time out with the car..and first time out trying ebrake entries (3 years of drift events, and i've never had a working ebrake in a car)...so I was quite satisfied with the turnout, and look forward to progressing with this car...till I blow it up or put it into a wall at the rally this weekend.

lol i've been a member of that forum since 06 and have 3 posts there heheheh. sorta like zilvia...I tend to browse and buy, and not say anything.
