first tattoo advice?

^THAT is exactly something like what I'm looking for. I was thinking a freehand drawing of a galaxy on my shoulder blade. kinda hard to draw out i guess...but i know its something i will always love

yeah, i'm huge into astronomy, i had a sleeve laid out of planets, stars, cosmic gases ect. it looked awesome, took me like 12 hours of designing, but when they told me the price i just kinda gave up.

i'm so tight on money i cant afford something as trivial as a tattoo, all my money goes towards bills, and my car that needs way too much fucking attention.

but definately go with astronomy.

chicks dig it.. hahaha

i remember one night i was at a party, some girl said "wow i love your tattoo its like a bunch of circles and spheres and stuff thats so kewl" hahaha

i know about 5 people just in my town that have tattoos of pheonix's they're alot more common then most think

WORD. girls love it when your deep. plus when your too busy to take them out to look at the stars, just throw your arm in their face. haha.

get the tongue ring too. shit after i got my tattoo and got my tongue pierced, girls always have a look on their face when they see it that makes me smile real big.

i was thinking about getting a tat also, i want to get 2 koi was thinking on my chest but not sure. not even sure if i want to get it period, cause like that funny ass red vs blue vid said, its perminat and i may not like it in 10yrs... but i do love KOI i have 6 of them
 
Go see Roger at Tattoos by Lou in Hialeah, he is there on Mon,Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun. Tell him Robert sent you, explain to him what you want and he will work with you. Talk to the artist first there are things that look good on paper but cant be done on the skin. any advice on location? i'm thinking upper arm, or shoulderblade. dont want it to be too obvious for future jobs and such, but dont want it to be miniscule and hidden ether.
 
best spot to hide is the inside bicep, it hurts a bit more. In reality it depends on the design you are looking to get, the tattoo needs to flow with the body lines. Plus make sure you get a tattoo artist with nice crisp lines... you dont want a tattoo with lines that look like a 2 year old did them... This is one of the tattoos i have, I am working on a full sleeve, and I want a back piece in a future. i would love to go to japan to get tattooed by HORIYOSHI 3

Roger is pretty sick from what I seen. Between yours and my boy Julio the work is outstanding! He is doing Julio's cousin soon too. Mine also soon enough.

and i know like 20 people with coi's on them. most of them girls. HA <3
 
do research.... get something orginal unique and meaningful.... if it has a story its worth keeping with you forever... my impulsive stupid tattoo is highly regretable don't do what i did!
 
yep everybody has kois now days... But do they even know the meening... It took me over 2 years to figure out how i wanted my Koi, which time of the year they swim up river and what flower are found floating in the river at that time of the year... Kois are known to swim up stream during spring and at the same time the sakura blossoms.. hence why my Koi has Cherry blossoms around it. Also the color of the koi and the possition of the head have different meanings. I also chose the Koi because of the relationship with the samurai, The carp is the only fish that when held in a cutting table it just waits and doesnt fight (death with honor), The sakura flower was also tattooed on the samurai because of the symbolism, samurais consider their life to be short, cause they never knew when they were going to die, the sakura(cherry blossom) represents the life of the samurai, due it only blossoms for a week. Yakuza are known to tattoo giant Kois with Kintaro on their back to symblise their warrior spirit... lol... I want to see you tell a Yakuza that he has a girlie tattoo... see how much time and research went into my tattoo design.... Do the same thing research, design and talk to the artist... remember that is going on your skin forever....
