last night i went sliding with my buddy and we were just doing circles and i couldnt even get half a circle before the car would just lose all power, i would pump the gas... nothing and then once it went back to idle it would drive just fine... has anyone had this problem with their FC? oh and its non turbo.

how much gas did you have?
when you slide left the gas sloshes to one side of the take and being low on gas could cause it to starve

Fuel slosh, watched a guy do it for 2 events at drift buffet last season, funny as shit to watch: drifty, drifty, drifty, BOOOOOG, drifty, drifty, drifty, BOOOOOOG

But also scary, his shit would bog and he'd straighten out, not gouda on an oval!

yeah rotaries and fuel starve don't mix you useally end up with BOOM after a while

Fuel Strainer on the fuels pump is clogged, replace that, and your fuel filter. Did you have Low fuel level?

- If you replace the strainer, you should just replace the pump while your at it, but it's all up to you really.
- Also consider replacing the Pressure regulator.

change the pump to a higher flow walbro and you'll get way less surge. it'll continue to happen for the most part till you change the pump. This has worked to everyone i've gave advice on this same problem. You should change the strainer and filter as well but im pretty sure that wont solve the problem. If your turbo, don't strain the motor below 1/4 tank of fuel.

ditto on all the above

but do u have an lsd/welded/na diff?
anything done to the engine?

I bet hes open... But he wouldnt bog because of that. The only thing that could happen is DTSS kick in and straighten him out.

But your best bet in all honesty is to go bottom feed with an inline 255... that way your fuel is always ABOVE the feed line... and you will never bog because of fuel.

i think u need a biggr cam and might as well throw some solid lifters and new piston rings, the bogging will go away and the car will be able to pop wheelies at 9000rpm

Haha.... DTSS... I hated that...

Get the DTSS eliminator kit... It makes the car 1000000x more predictable, and much easier to control....

+1, problem is definately the cam. or the driver...:D his engine is stock, i thought he had a diff but i could be wrong. its karma for sliding without me asshole! lol
