Welcome to America, we have no rights anymore. I was pulled over for "illegal headlights" driving a 07 100% stock M5 a few days ago and had my trunk locked and the officer performed a "state required safety check" to make sure that I had a spare and jack forcing me to open the trunk or have the car impounded and searched at the lot.
WTF happened to No Illegal Search and Seizure?

call a lawyer on the spot then, your in sfl there a dime a dozen.
I have already gotten a lawyer for the ticket and a letter on BMW letterhead saying that the bulbs and housings are 100% OEM also pics of the car with the FHP Car behind it. I asked about the "safety check" and the lawyer said that its a law that falls under the Patriot act and therefore not legally considered a violation of personal privacy
