i want to buy all the gaskets and seals to rebuild a SR...I want it as reliable as possible before i think about power upgrades......do you guys think the oem rebuild stuff is a good idea??? or should i opt for aftermarket rebuild stuff (thicker head gaskets and shit)???i plan to make about 350whp at the most (no time soon).... any input would be appreciated thanks!!

Stock sr20 can do 350whp.. Just change the basic stuff like waterpump, thermostat, belts, sparkplugs, and clutch you should be good with that.

Stock sr + aftermarket headgasket (Apex-i, Power Enterprise, Tomei, Cosworth) and minor boltons/upgrades will get you what you want reliably

GT2871r .64a/r + Cams (264's) = quick 350rwhp easy

oem gaskets should be fine but i would run a metal head gasket and arp studs just to be safe you should be able to make decent power with the stock turbo on 10-12 lbs with afew bolt ons.
