engine clicking noise

Hey guys recently theres been some clicking going on under my valve cover, and even more recently wheni start the car it makes a loud ass sound and once i start driving it goes away but the clicking remains.

iv been told it can be the timeing chain guides and iv been told to replace them or just take them off but i need more feed back to this any one had this problem befor??? iv heard its common on ka24de blocks

yea more than licky is that. some ppl take em off. some ppl replace them. up to u.

well what do recommend iv been told that it makes no difference if i take them off cus they are pointless and other people look at me like im stupid cus then the chain will slap around and dammage internals?

Its the pillowpants sensor, it ticks.
