ebay boss hub kits

does anyone have experience with them? is there any play in them at all? and what about the ebay qr? any play at all? and overall feel? thanks people.
 
i wouldn't fuck with an ebay quick release...but you can always try it out, maby someone with experience with'em will chime in..
 
i have no experience with either.

just some info tho...i bought a circuit sports short hub and nrg 2.0 qr for about 140

id say you could get the hub but i would doubt on the quick release...a guy i know has a shorty quick release and it does have slight play and ive heard that the shorty ones are no good.

if anything get the regular sized quick release. and a cheap regular hub..but if you have a deep dish wheel and if you do regular sized of both then you have the wheel way too close to you.
 
my boys got an ebay quick release, and he's got mad play with the steering and his bearings fall out and shit, dont be cheap with important parts of your car. I got a nardi steering wheel, a short hub, and a quick release all for $220
 
ive used a boss hub on every car ive owned in the last 3 years never i mean never had a problem. The ebay quick realese however is scary as fuck. I have one my car now and my steeringn wheel falls off while driving on a regular basis. I had to cover the quick release with electrical tap to get it to stop coming off. def dont use the quick release
