easiest way to install transmission on jackstand

its in...what i did was have the bellhousing end lifted by hand and then held up by a jack, and the the tail end; similar process....i did this close enough to the clutch itself so that when the input shaft was between the clutch itself we (the both of us) could wriggle it somewat into place...and then theres that period where its close to being in, but not because its not 100 percent lined up....so we (actually he) took the starter bolt and put it into the bellhousing hole, then started tightening, to have the tranny slowly draw itself towards the car,,,,wasnt working at first but he went at it anyways for bout 15 minutes, then we took the bolt out.....and the tranny was still somewat suspended with one of the stands under it, added a lil more force....it kinda went moved into position enuff so that he tried the bolt method again....this time it worked.....so he used two bolts and tightened till the bellhousing was sitting flush on the engine itself and the input shaft aligned itself...(granted we did turn the flywheel at some points, and one of the jacks was still underneath the tail end of the tranny).....it was on in about an hour tops....note: the way i did it the car was only on two jackstands, rear wheels were blocked, and it was sweltering....now im just having trouble getting one of the holes for the mastercylinder popped out....using a 2inch round cutout on an 18v drilll....but it seems to not be enuff power..lolmore power
