E30 M3 vs. Police Camaro

That BMW was definetly not pushing 240hp or a supercharger. Those cars are also gear limited to 130mph... so none of that "150mph" exaggeration.

The father of the kid who pulled this stunt was registered in the BMW forums. If you watch closely they fake the car's "break down". They slow down a clip of the car doing a u-turn. Truth of the matter is: The 15 year old kid outran the cops

He was caught later when he returned home. He just took his father's car for a joyride.

that is the best thing ever ahahhhaahah too bad the kid didnt take a vid,, that would have been sick

If a cop were to chase me in my hachi, they'd call off the chase, because there is too must rust flying off my car for them to see.

Haha yeah I saw this a while ago and closely analyzed it and realized that the kid really did get away. I thought it was the funniest thing ever. Then I come to find out that the dad of the kid is a driving instructor at a professional BMW driving school. Meaning the kid was probably driving 5 speed perfectly by the time he was 7.

Did he really stopped at the end or they called this chase...and went to pick him up at home?

Cops never caught him Antti. Watch the video again... you will see 1/2 way through the video he slams on the brakes and crosses the highway to go back the other direction.

The show edited that footage, slowed it down and made it seem like he broke down later on. You can clearly see the same sign. Right before the kid turns left they stop the footage.

The kid made it home with no cops.

That's the German spec M3s with the dogleg trannies. (which is what my topic was based off... I was just off on the math... but I've seen a german e30 M3 redline at 225km/h)

The US models have a conventional 5spd which seems to have different ratio's because M3 owners claim to have hit 145 with room for a bit more. So who knows.
