e to de swap

ive searched and searched and i still have a few questions for the swap, i looked on nico club and found that the dash connector wires match up, coolant temp, tach, speedo, ground, and whatever the fifth one is, and the faq said al the other wires were just to hook up to the scan tool. what are the other wires for exactly, and there were 2 connectors under the dash before the ecu, the new harness has one of them although the plug is bigger, what is that for, and the other smaller one wire connector, what is that one for? thanks :bigthumbu

it maybe an auto harness....that would go to the automatic trans controller

hmm i see that could make sense, what about all the other wires to the dash plug? from what i hear i dont need them but i would still like to have some info on them?
