true he never shldve looked back but he wouldve been fine if he just gassed it. he straightend out and just went straight into the bank... he looked back and looked foward and turned back right which he shouldve countersteered even more

Actually, from the looks of it, it looked like pulling the e-brake would have been the best thing he could have done. He was carrying way too much speed to stay on throttle. Of course, we can all put in our own words of what he should have done, but that would make us spectating drivers.

Not at all. Pulling the e-brake in that case would have slowed the car down without losing angle or changing the direction of the slide. I mean, there are a few factors to make it work properly.

And I don't mean just dragging the e-brake for a very long time. A few quick pulls to lock and release the rear tires 2-3 times in a span of a couple of seconds is all you need. Pay attention to the way he was driving earlier in the video. You can see how he was using the e-brake on the entries of the turns to adjust the speed and position of the car.

I have to add another note. My bad. lol. If you watch the tail lights of the cars, they are also using the foot brake at the same time as the e-brake. Obviously the foot brake is used to slow the car down, and the e-brake is used to adjust angle and direction of the car. Using the foot brake alone can cause understeer and straightening of the car (but this is very dependent on the brake bias as well).
Sorry if I've explained too deeply into the matter, as I can get very technical. lol.
