Drift Sessions at county line pre reg open

It is Florida's summer.... so you can easily count on a 50-50 chance of showers. All I know is that if it showers, everyone will be praising the tire gods for listening to our wishes. lol

I hope it does rain a little, because I don't feel like going to Edge Racing to buy tires. Money is a little short.

tires

yoo if u need tires u guys should think about goin @ sears and shit cuz they throw out fairly good tires i been doing dat all night

yep

What sucks is there are so many events going on now. And i wont be able to get any practice in cause im so busy between the event and getting my 240 ready. But once its done i'll be everywhere! Well every where local. Still need to do an 8 point, and weld the diff.

There are still 3 weeks to go! I can't wait. Unleash my need for drifting already!!!! lol. This is going to be a fun event. Lots of good people on that list.

Yup, it should be fun. I'll be trying out a few different camera angles at that event too(unless it rains then probably only in-car) :bigthumbu .

Thats cool, I might have to meet up with you and your brother when your back in town. I need to take some pics of people's fender rolls and pulls(that the fender roller tool help to do). Just to give people a better idea of the work an extreme pull and slight pull would be. It'll help me rent it out more ;) .Thats if I have the permission from you and your brother :) .

not an issue but my fender pull is extream

Yeah both of yours are lol(I love them both :bigthumbu ). Its more so people can see it not just a simple pull with the fender tool to get those big pulls. You'll need a body guy for the bigger stuff, the lesser pulls can be done by the tool but the extreme stuff takes experiance hands and the tool would help him. The guy who did yours was good, that extreme and didn't seem to affect the paint much if at all.

WOOT WOOT just sent the money if all goes well this will be my 1st event

ok lol im a lil nervous the only events ive ever been in was the autocross events i drove for in school with our electric Porsche so i hope i dont embarass myself too much but i know it will be fun

You'll be fine, I don't know if you have seen the Countyline vid I posted. It's a fun place, just take small steps as the day goes and you'll get better. You'll be surprised how much better you get from not being paranoid when you slide lol.

Tim its Chris, is this a good event for a beginner, who's never drifted but would like to learn while there. Or is this something where I should stay out of the guys way. Competition or practice I guess is what I'm asking.

it seems like it'd take intermediate skill to do this.. not too hard, nothing to really crash into, but skidpads are a beginners best friend. or the kart track
