Drift Emporium Announces Two New Drivers for 2010

According to the Drift Emporium website they will be adding two new teammates to the team for 2010. They have reported in their news section that they have picked up Michihiro Takatori and Forrest Wang. No details yet that  I can find on what they will be driving yet but I cannot wait to see some heavy hitters on the Drift Emporium program for 2010. Thanks for the tip Byron Hill.

its good for DE as they will get 2 good drivers and the other 2 get some financial help.

Technically forrest is going to ProAm to get his license (though he previously had one) so he doesnt have it at this moment. but if no car issues, he will get it im sure.

i watched some clips of him against the tanaka and ueno. its very subtle but his lines are more precise, he's got razor sharp control. i believe he will move up very fast, surpassing kumakubo, tanaka, ueno and up to the likes of nomura, daigo, and kawabata imho.

He got beat by Tanaka. Like, hands down beat.
Im not takin away from his driving.
Im sure he can outdrive me any day of the week....BUTTTT....he got beat in chicago.

He is an Amazing driver.
If FD would judge un biast and true, he would do AMAZINGLY well.
Unfortunatley for him, he's not in Drift Alliance, so he wont do well.

Forrest is a crazy good driver, but you also need to realize that whatever you saw from the Japs at D1 USA was bullshit. They were taking it easy. Yes, they drove amazingly at D1GP in Miami, but I've seen them do a lot better in videos. They came over here to give us a show and have a good time, but trust me, when they get serious, get the fuck out of the way.
