Located near the coast of one of South Carolina’s most popular beaches, Myrtle Beach Speedway is home to a very tight knit automotive community. From its beginning as a dirt oval track under the name Rambi Raceway in 1958, Myrtle Beach Speedway has under gone many changes and has seen many cars and many drivers. Several famous NASCAR drivers have spent time here; drivers like Jeff Gordon, all 3 generations of the Earnhardt’s, and all 4 generations of the Pettys. Needless to say, this 0.538 oval has seen some serious history.
