DONT PUMP GAS ON MARCH 31st!!

Fuck that. If gas prices were $10 a gallon we would still pay for it.
I'm only 21 and remember going to the pump and complaining about $1.... lol
 
I'm also 21, I started driving when it was $1.50/gal... now its over $3.50/gal

I can't do shit about it, but complain.... until an actual effective solution is found.... which is.... walking..... but I choose not to do that... lol
 
Just to make sure you won't run out of gas, everyone will fill up the night of march 30th and spend money, soooooo this is fucking retarted.

You're doing nothing by not buying gas for one day. Almost all gas stations are privately owned, so that means you are hurting a small american business man and not some major oil company like some of you people seem to think.

heres the kicker.
Gas is bought in extreme bulk by the gas station. Their money is already spent, and they are trying to recover their spendings (plus profit duh) and have money to purchase more fuel in the future.

also, most of the oil we have in the united states is like shale oil or rock oil or some kind of bullshit. Basically its all inside of rocks. Therefore its like, not that easy to refine. Im not sure the exact details of this, i just know its something like that.

a family friend owns a gas station and he says they barly make any money off gas, thats y they have convience stores also, thats how they really make there money. the only way i see in really hurting oil companies is buy converting your car to run on moon shine and make our own gas so we never have to buy for oil companies again. and if we have diesel get the kit to run off old cooking oil and buy old oil from resturants.. like everyone said one day isnt enough, this has been tried b4 and on a much bigger scale and it didnt even budge the companies

and the bike idea is also one of the best ideas. i get 60 mpg, its hard to ride everyday cuz it cant carry any thing but i keep my work van at my moms in lake worth and ride the bike home( most of my work is up north and i live in boynton)
even a scooter, ive seen some get 100 mpg but they only go 35 mph. some go faster but theyre more expensive
 
I'd be so down to get a bike, but I take 3 major busy roads that are under construction everyday during rush hour to and from work. People almost merge into me and cut me off in my big ass truck so I would be terrified on a bike.
 
There is too much demand for gas in this country which leads to the gas companies to do as they please plus is not like is gonna hurt them by people not pumping that day sooner or later you are gonna have to pump gas . Plus like it was mention b4 the gas prices are not bad in this country is just that for the pol here is not normal to see this prices . If u go any were else u pay 3 euros for a liter so for a gallon it would be almos 4 times that . So people need to stop complaining and stop buying huge trucks or cars and get low consuming cars
 
Here in Finland we pay about 1.50euros a liter. That's about 8 US Dollars per gallon, so your gas prices sound pretty good.
