So I got the idea for this project from another blogger.

My mom spent $500 on some lights for her studio and I wanted to see if I could build something that would get the job done for 1/2 the price. Verdict..... I did. It's not as pretty but they work well. Now I have to build some soft boxes and buy some umbrellas maybe.
My lights are selectable and I can turn on one, three, or five bulbs. I have to add a mounting point to the bottom. In the end, I will use tripods I can get from Best Buy with a crazy employee discount as stands. I'm all haggard in the last pic cause I've been working my ass off, and who shaves on their vacation anyway??? That was with all the lights off and the 40D on auto. I didn't care to fiddle with anything when I shot it.
