diy fender rolling

or you can just rent a fender roller from giacomo

I agree :bigthumbu . If you plan on doing that way be careful, you'll need good, steady hands. With the fender roller tool its makes it easier on you and the paint. No metal on metal contact, you need someone with experiance to do that. Since I know just about everyone wants a fender roll and a little pulling don't forget to cut slits(more info on the link below :bigthumbu ). Make sure to read the important tip.

PS I have no shame lol, I need money so. . .

lol nut this is the jdm way to do it ;)

You want "jdm tyte ;) " then read my post of the fender roller. Where the fender lip is pulled outward to create a flare :bigthumbu .

Yea, and youll have a perfectly rolled fender and no paint chips etc.

Ever used one? Judging by your post, I'll guess no because you can still easily get paint chips with a roller.

I've used a few methods (roller included) and unless you're doing a pull, I'd avoid a fender roller. It takes too long and they always come lose in the middle of the job unless you go sloooow.

Its not so much going slow but the top part with the rolling cylinder has a pivot point which you need to slowly adjust according to where you are in the fender(ex. when your at the highest point of the fender and going slowly lower). Its not that hard and it's a lot more user-friendly than a hammer or bat. You need what I call the "experiance" touch to do those well. Of course don't forget to use a heat gun, unless you don't care or you have a paint job coming up soon :bigthumbu .

i was fine with hammer lol before..

PS. this is the first time doing this, lol couple months ago

It looks good from what I can see, I can't really see in the pic if it chipped any paint or its even but I'll take your word for it. Well, metal on metal is not my favorite way of doing things lol. That's cool though, I know that is a cheaper way and whatever helps you pull them for your wheels :bigthumbu . Just remember if you do mess up a little and take off paint to use some rust inhibitor on that spot. You don't want rust and worse rust slowly growning under your nose.
