Desoto Drift Practice 11-23

Next event, boxmod is imposing a minimum MPH requirement in order for your run to count. Whoever fails to meet the requirement, will have to cuddle with Mars. :bigthumbu

i believe that you ppl did that totally wrong, the proper "wana-be-flip-a-bitch" style comes in at a 180 degree angle... at 90 degrees it would cause the car to over/under rotate all the time due to Newton's laws of motion

...unless your trying to get that "almost" 1 hit outa 100

this was just an impromptu setup cause one of our drivers wanted some practice for a stunt driving job. we did it three ways, go 90 and get as paralell and close to cones as possible, then we did 180s wher eyou brought the back of the car as close to the cones as possible, then we setup a small box to slide it into. We wanna make a funner version sometime and use some actual card board boxes to make a box like they did in the gt channel version. but they did theres with fwd cars and I think J turns to start?

no, people were being to violent with the steering...
YouTube - More Than Human Stunt driver Bobby Ore Parks Car at 90MPH

tell me he was going for 1% chance he wouldnt hit the other cars? and the speed at which the car changes attitude is about the same as the cars at desoto, even though he starts the skid at much higher speed.

newtons law applies yes, but the input of LESS steering = output of LESS rotation.

class dismissed.

Did you even stop to think what forces are acting on a car in this situation?

No need to criticize and name drop about what you don't know.
