Define Drift Team

Whats makes a Drift team a team?
Matching stickes?
A group of buddies?
A shop?

Im just curious what you guys think. What your standards for team is. Is there a capitan? How is he/she established?

How did your team come about?
 
Umm the way I see it is a team is a group of friends that get together for the love of a sport, unless your sponsored by a giant company and they ask you to be a driver then thats different. But as far as something like FMDT...wtf dont even start with the captains nonsense...its only something that will cause problems later on.

Oh yea I am the one and only member of section8 drift...hehe for now!

the matching stickers n such are nice, it just lets everyone know that your a group.
A shop is nice too because it gives you a place to work on your cars and hang out in the process...

stickers just give cops an easier job spotting you... not worth it imo. unless it's at a track or an event. maybee a little sticker or something is cool. -ok im jealous that im not in a drift team and dont have any stickers.lol.
 
I group of buddies who do lik 5 car tandems and evry1 hasa car and we do drunk poses and do lotz of drifting and challange other teams

a group of ppl that do a group buy on a set of advans and they have almost the same name as anoher group

a team, members that go out drift togeather, practise drifting in different conditions and share their ideas and techniques. Demonstrait their shared techniques at events and gain recognition from their strong points of driving. A few select "teams" set the local\regional standards for skill level.

basically....i think a "group of friends" who hang out together is more of a "crew" than a team...a team have goals and they help each other achieve those goals...

i am guessing but i think D = S ??, he states "i run this shyt dolo" and the S key is close to the D key and he might be drunk, or no,t who knows, but that is a very easy mistake when it comes to typing. so it sounds to me like he said "i run this **** (caca or doo doo) (S)olo.

That is very true. Until I started hanging out with these guys I never knew how to initiate a turn.
