Cracking WEP and WPA Keys???

Hey umm yeah so i have no internets at my grandmas lol so i checked the wireless connections in my area and i have like 8 people with strong wireless connections. was wondering if any of you guys know how to possibly crack a WEP code or more importantly a WPA Key.

Just need to beable to leach of someones internet for 4-5 days....

links and tips would be great.
 
tip, most owners of routers never reset their passwords and the default ones can be found easily, they vary amongst brands. The standard IP is usually 192.168.1.1

for example, on a linksys router iirc the username is left blank and the password is admin. You can find out for sure w/ a quick search. I wouldn't do anything malicious though - just remove some security or if possible, make an exception until you leave.
 
half of the time the wep password is the phone number...which i think is the default set by the phone company.....find out the neighbors phone # and try it out on the connections.....and you cant really get on the router access page(192.268.1.1) unless you first connect to the network itself.....
 
oh yeah you're right. i didn't even think about it. since most my experience here is for legitimate purposes, i am usually plugged in w/ a wire. duh.
 
ok well im on one its very very very very weak though all the others are WPA and from what i have read they are very hard to get onto...
 
lawl. you ever think they put wep or wpa up for a reason? tether your damn cell phone and use it as a modem or something.
