Couple of questions about my S13 coupe...

I’m kind of new with 240’s and my brother is doing an Auto to 5Spd swap in my S13 DOHC coup and maybe doing a Turbo kit but I have a couple of questions...

1. Driveshaft different from an Auto?
2. I know I need a 5spd cluster; can I use a single cam cluster?
3. Can I use a single cam A/C compressor in a DOHC?
4. Should I Boost my KA24 DOHC?
5. I’m buying KYB’s AGX but not sure what type of springs (how about Intrax?)

Please give me some suggestions if you have some or if you think that my questions are stupid, save your time and don’t reply. Thanks.

1. yes
2. you dont need a 5speed cluster, if you are using dohc, you need a dohc tachometer and the plug from the ecu that goes up into the dashboard cuz they are different between the dohc and sohc harness.
3. no
4. drive it n/a first, if you want to spend money, boost it.
5. get tein s-techs or espelir, eibachs are good too but too soft, espeliers are toight work, or ground control coilover sleeve kit stuff


6. you also need dohc powersteering lines and throttle cable if you want power steering and a working gas pedal lol.
7. you also need dohc a/c line if you are running a.c.

8. i do these swaps all the time, you can hire me if you want :D :bigthumbu

i have an auto cluster on my car now.

AUTOMATIC AND MANUAL DRIVESHAFTS ARE DIFFERENT. s13 and s14 drive shafts are different.
